Seasonal Internship Program

Empowering young farmers to learn, grow, and build their future through practical hands-on experience.

Each year, Hundt Farms welcomes an agricultural intern from Germany to live and work on our farm in Southwestern Ontario. Our paid seasonal internship program offers hands-on learning in modern crop production, field operations, and equipment use, providing a well-rounded understanding of Canadian agriculture.

Participants work alongside experienced farmers and gain practical experience in every stage of the growing season: from planting and crop care to harvest and post-harvest management. Beyond technical training, interns learn about farm management, and importance of teamwork.

Mentoring young farmers has become an important part of who we are. We take pride in helping the next generation build real-world skills and a deeper connection to agriculture.
